The Flea Market is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. Each weekend, the Commercial and Education buildings, the Shoppes at Dorton and the outside grounds are host to hundreds of dealers, craftsmen, and booths. **Inclement Weather CLOSED ONLY FOR THE WEEKEND OF 9/15-16**
The Flea Market will close Sunday, Sept. 23, in preparation of the annual State Fair and reopen on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Equestrian Exchange Consignment Sale
Equestrian Exchange Tack Consignment Sale is North Carolina's largest equine item consignment sale. It offers the opportunity to buy and sell any equestrian tack, saddles, show clothing, barn supplies, horsewaer and riding needs for all disciplines of riding. New bar code tagging system - refer to website for all details. Consignors earn 75% of all sold and shop before public. Anything related to the equestrian sport is represented at this sale. Barn supplies, show clothing and more! Encourage all non-profit horse progrms and equestrian camps to be involved in buying and selling horse items. Large items such as carts, wagons welcome.
Receiving dates: (Consignors drop off your items) Tuesday-August 28 from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Large Volume Consignors 150+ items call for appointment. Pick-up unsold items Wednesday 8/29 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. (this is a no shopping day).
Thursday 8/30 Volunteers Shop 12 Noon- 9 pm and Consignors (and 1 guest - passes required) shop 3 pm - 9 pm.; Also Volunteers may shop on Monday 9/3 from 10 am - 7 pm and Consignors (and 1 guest - passes required) from 10 am - 7 pm.
Special Premier Shopping Night Thursday August 30 from 5 - 9 p.m. with $10 (CASH ONLY) Admission.

08/30-09/03 Kennel Club Dog Shows-Tarheel Labor Day Cluster
AKC (American Kennel Club) registered dogs will compete each day for points leading to championships, as well as dog obedience trials for degrees and obedience championship points.  Championship all breed dog show, obedience and rally trials - a different Kennel Club hosts competitions each day. The schedule is: Thursday, Fayetteville Kennel Club; Friday, Alamance Kennel Club; Saturday, Durham Kennel Club; Sunday, Raleigh Kennel Club, and Monday, Cary Kennel Club. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday is $5.00 for adults, $2.00 for senior adults and children 7-11 years of age. Free admission with military ID and for children under 7 years of age. Special outdoor attraction each day: North American Dock Diving Dogs - bring your dog (and current health records) to participate. This is a free spectator attraction sponsored by AKC and located outside the South end of the Graham Building near Hillsborough Street.

This show offers a vast array of precious and semi-precious gem stones, pearls, beads and beading supplies, minerals, crystals, gems, and finished jewelry in gold and silver including 14K, 18K and platinum fine jewelry, hand-crafted, custom designs, fashion jewelry, and sterling silver. The Korean American Association holds the Korean Festival, a cultural event to present both traditional and contemporary Korean culture to people in North Carolina. At the Korean Festival, you can enjoy K-pop through performances of singing and dancing, experience Hanbok (traditional Korean clothing), Hangul (Korean alphabet), games, craft works, clothing, painting and Korean food! 22-23 DogGoneFast Flyball Club Flyball Tournament 
Flyball dog racing! Come out and watch the flyball dogs! Flyball is a fast-paced family-oriented dog sport that has become a hit on Animal Planet and ESPN's Great Outdoor Games. Dogs and people alike go wild over this relay race with 4 dogs per team. Each dog jumps 4 hurdles and steps on a spring loaded box, which shoots out a tennis ball. The dog catches the ball and runs back over the 4 hurdles. When the dog crosses the starting line the next dog goes. The first team to have all 4 dogs run without errors wins the heat. Sat. 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Spectators and leashed dogs are welcome to come and watch. Free admission.
