2018 NC Japan Summer Festival (New expanded location)
Japanese Natsu Matsuri (Summer Festival) features traditional-type street food and drink (including Japanese beer).  Enjoy stage entertainment and dance floor for traditional Japanese bon odori dancing and performances by taiko drums, other Japanese musical instruments, Japanese choir and musicians, Japanese martial arts demos, and other Japanese cultural entertainment.  Tables will be hosted by other Japan-interest groups and will feature traditional Japanese games for children, displays of Japanese arts and crafts, cultural presentations and sale or trading of Japanese goods. Advance Ticket Admission: $5 (ages 13 and older) for event admission from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Ages 12 and under free admission.

25-26 Body Mind Spirit Expo

Equestrian Exchange Consignment Sale
Equestrian Exchange Tack Consignment Sale is North Carolina's largest equine item consignment sale. It offers the opportunity to buy and sell any equestrian tack, saddles, show clothing, barn supplies, horsewaer and riding needs for all disciplines of riding. New bar code tagging system - refer to website for all details. Consignors earn 75% of all sold and shop before public. Anything related to the equestrian sport is represented at this sale. Barn supplies, show clothing and more! Encourage all non-profit horse progrms and equestrian camps to be involved in buying and selling horse items. Large items such as carts, wagons welcome.

08/30-09/03 Kennel Club Dog Shows-Tarheel Labor Day Cluster
AKC (American Kennel Club) registered dogs will compete each day for points leading to championships, as well as dog obedience trials for degrees and obedience championship points.  Championship all breed dog show, obedience and rally trials - a different Kennel Club hosts competitions each day. The schedule is: Thursday, Fayetteville Kennel Club; Friday, Alamance Kennel Club; Saturday, Durham Kennel Club; Sunday, Raleigh Kennel Club, and Monday, Cary Kennel Club. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday is $5.00 for adults, $2.00 for senior adults and children 7-11 years of age. Free admission with military ID and for children under 7 years of age. Special outdoor attraction each day: North American Dock Diving Dogs - bring your dog (and current health records) to participate. This is a free spectator attraction sponsored by AKC and located outside the South end of the Graham Building near Hillsborough Street.
