The Flea Market is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. Each weekend, the Commercial and Education buildings, the Shoppes at Dorton and the outside grounds are host to hundreds of dealers, craftsmen, and booths.

NCHJA Annual HunterJumper Show
NCHJA AA Horse Show starts each day at 8 am with special classes held Friday and Saturday evenings. Free spectator admission throughout the show.

1-2 Repticon Reptile & Exotic Animal Show
Repticon is a reptile and exotic animal convention showcasing vendors from around the country offering live animals, animal supplies and related merchandise. Live animals presentations and educational seminars are presented throughout the show hours.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.  VIP Admission (Sat. 9 am): $12. General admission Ages 13 and over is $10; Ages 5 - 12 admission $5, Ages 4 and under admitted free. Special two-day general admission $15. Click on our website for more info:

Capital City Gun Show
Buy - Sell - Trade event : guns, knives, ammo, hunting supplies and anything related to shooting sports. Event hours are: Saturday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sunday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Daily admission is $10 ages 12 and up. Cash only. Saturday admission good for both days. State 4-H Horse Show
Free admission to spectators - open to public..
Activities begin at 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Wednesday; 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Thursday, 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Sunday. This 5-day 4-H State Championship Horse Show will featuring over 2600 entries in 123 classes highlighting youth / 4-H members ages 5-18 exhibiting their project animals and demonstrating a wide variety of riding disciplines, including: speed events, hunt seat, dressage, western, saddle seat and non-trotting classes.

Gem & Jewelry Show
Dealers will offer a variety of gems, jewelry, crystals, minerals and beads for show and sale. Rare minerals, giant sharks teeth, and fossils will be on display. Hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free admission.

Rubber Stamp & Scrapbooking Show
SSAT Shows presents their Stamp Scrap Art Tour with vendors and classes offering rubber stamps, scrapbook and paper crafts training and supplies. As we begin our 11th year our goal remains to create Rubber Stamp Conventions with an atmosphere that is fun and exciting for everyone, both vendors and customers. We are committed to creating an experience that allows you to forget your troubles for a few days, while providing an event full of memories that you will always treasure and will want to return to. Children welcome with adult supervision. Saturday and Sunday general admission includes Make & Take experiences - some free and some with purchase of materials.

15 13th Annual Children's Good News Spectacular
Child Evangelism Fellowship of Greater Raleigh Area and several area sponsors are hosting a free area-wide event for children and families at our expanded location on the Fairgrounds.. Children can enjoy inflatible games and rides, popcorn, snow cones and Any avadrinks, and an illusion show blended with several gospel puppet presentations. FREE Admission.

2017 Japanese Summer Festival
Japanese Natsu Matsuri (Summer Festival) features traditional Japanese festival-type street food and drink (including Japanese beer).  Enjoy stage entertainment and dance floor for traditional Japanese bon odori dancing and performances by taiko drums, other Japanese musical instruments, Japanese choir and musicians, Japanese martial arts demos, and other Japanese cultural entertainment.  Tables will be hosted by other Japan-interest groups and will feature traditional Japanese games for children, displays of Japanese arts and crafts, cultural presentations and sale or trading of Japanese goods. Admission: $5 age 13 and older (Check back for additional information on discounted advance tickets.) Event Hours: 1 - 8 p.m.

Dressage under saddle classes at all levels, Intro to Grand Prix both days, Sport Horse in-hand competition both days.
