Dixie Deer Classic
Deer Hunters Convention. Wake County Wildlife Club presents their 39th annual event designed to offer the latest in hunting equipment from more than 200 vendors. Seminars, displays, trophy scoring, and archery competition. Special GuestJim Shockey, Frank Addington, Larysa Switlyk, Eva Shockey. Over $60,000 in hunting gear and prizes given away each year. Special Features: NTWF Turkey Callers Competition, Call Makers Competition, Trail Cam, Video Contest, Ourdoor Lore, Carolina Dock Diving Dogs and for the kids a Sea Fishing Rodeo and Scavenger Hunt. Hours are Friday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $12 for age 13 and older (get your hand stamped for return admission good all 3 days), children 12 and under are admitted free. In Search of Meaning is a lecture series on Archaeology and the Bible conducted by Tony Moore–Tony has traveled thousands of miles exploring and photographing scores of archaeological sites in 7 countries of the near east. Traveling with a backpack and camera bag, he mingles with the people, experiences their culture, and captures it on film. His lectures and photographs on the ancient world will bring fresh meaning to your modern world.  The lecture series is hosted by Shawn Boonstra, International Speaker of the Voice of Prophecy and host of the

Maximum Cheer March Mash-Up
Cheer and dance competition hosting an individual, duo, stunt group and team competition for dance and cheer. Persian New Year starts on the 1st day of the Spring. Traditionally Persians celebrate the last Tuesday night of the year which is called Chaharshanbe-Souri or the Wednesday Feast. Championship Purebred AKC event - registered dogs will compete each day in championship dog shows, obedience and rally trials.  A different Kennel Club hosts competitions each day. The schedule is:
Wednesday - Cary Kennel Club;
Thursday - Alamance Kennel Club;
Friday - Durham Kennel Club;
Saturday - Raleigh Kennel Club;
and Sunday - Fayetteville Kennel Club.  Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission on Saturday, Mar. 23 and Sunday Mar. 24 is $5 for adults, $2 for kids 7-12 and Senior Citizens, Children under 7 admitted free.

Equestrian Exchange Consignment Sale
Equestrian Exchange Tack Consignment Sale is North Carolina's largest equine item consignment sale. It offers the opportunity to buy and sell any equestrian tack, saddles, show clothing, barn supplies, horsewear and riding needs for all disciplines of riding. New bar code tagging system - refer to website for all details. Consignors earn 75% of all sold and shop before public. Anything related to the equestrian sport is represented at this sale.
