The Flea Market will be open during Winter months from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. Each weekend, the Commercial and Education buildings and the outside grounds are host to hundreds of dealers, craftsmen, and booths.

Scandinavian Christmas Fair
This event features Scandinavian favorites like homemade foods, unique crafts and entertainment. There will be cultural exhibits and children's activities. Come and enjoy a traditional Scandinavian Christmas, certain to get you in the spirit. Entertainment includes folk dancing, folk music, and the popular Lucia-procession. The food court will have Swedish meatballs, salmon and homemade breads. Event is sponsored by SWEA (Swedish Women's Association) and VASA (Swedish-American organization). Toy Train Sale and Swap Meet
Over 100 vendors featuring Lionel, K-Line, MTH, Weaver, Atlas, American Flyer, Marklin Bachmann, Varney "N", "HO", "O", "S". and "G" gauge trains, accessories, track, switches and hard to find parts, and other toy train related items. Event features over 100 tables plus operating layouts, Kids Club activities, hands-on layouts and train races for the children. Workshops and minor on-site repairs. Auction at 1 p.m. Special Raffle at 3 p.m. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m on Saturday and Sunday. General admission is $6 for adults ($1 off coupon in News & Observer or Event Flyer), free for children under age 13 accompanied by paying adult.

1-2 9th Annual Holiday Classic Open Horse Show
Statewide open horse show classes for youth and adult exhibitors in western, hunter and saddleseat divisions to benefit the NCSU Intercollegiate Western Riding Team and the North Central District 4-H Horse Program. Free spectator admission. Open to public beginning at 8 am - 10 pm daily.

4 "Pay It Forward" with Express Clydesdales
The World Champion Express Clydesdales will be available for photos, wagon rides or coach rides and for related activities. The Clydesdales are appearing in nearby Christmas parades and stabled at the Hunt Horse Complex, appearing at the Arena on Tuesday - December 4.

Bulls, Bells & Barrels - Bull Riding Event
Carousel Farms present "Bulls, Bells, & Barrels" championship bull riding - barrel racing - western and equestrian christmas shopping - entertainment for the whole family. Admission $12 General; $17 VIP; Age 5 and under free admission.
Doors open at 6 pm on Friday and Saturday for shopping - show starts at 7:30 pm.

Classic Car Auction
The Raleigh Classic - four private collections offering more than 250 vintage vehicles. Registered Bidder preview on Thursday, December 7 from 5 - 8 pm. Public may preview the cars on Friday, December 8 from 8 a.m. to 10 am. Auction time on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Adult $10 per day or $15 for a two-day pass.
Age 12 and Under $5 per day or $7 for a two-day pass. Free Admission to registered bidders.

Like the wonderful Christmas Markets of Europe, we feature food and gifts from Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Slovakia, The British Isles, Scandinavia, and Italy. Train Strongman presents possibly the most important Strongman competition of all-time, in conjunction with Giants Live, Worlds Strongest Man, and Official Strongman, we present the Official Strongman Games. At this show you will see feats of strength that you have never seen before. It’s certain to be an exciting three days of grit, mental toughness and human perseverance. The 2018 Official Strongman Games will culminate with an incredible final contest with over 200 athletes from all over the world battling it out for the title of World's Strongest!
