2019 NC Japan Summer Festival (New expanded location)
An authentic Japanese culture summer festival or "natsu matsuri" featuring delicious traditional street food and drink (including Japanese beer), interesting one-of-a-kind goods, and thrilling entertainment.  Enjoy live performances of Japanese pop music, taiko drumming, martial arts demos, a Japanese choir, traditional bon odori dancing, and a Japanese karaoke contest with prizes for the winners.  Includes a Community Market area with tables and booths where visitors can view and buy a wide variety of unique Japanese arts, crafts and other goods.  For more info, please visit www.ncjapanfest.org

Equestrian Exchange Consignment Sale
Equestrian Exchange Tack Consignment Sale is North Carolina's largest equine item consignment sale. It offers the opportunity to buy and sell any equestrian tack, saddles, show clothing, barn supplies, horsewaer and riding needs for all disciplines of riding. 8/29-9/2 Kennel Club Dog Shows-Tarheel Labor Day Cluster
AKC (American Kennel Club) registered dogs will compete each day for points leading to championships, as well as dog obedience trials for degrees and obedience championship points.  Championship all breed dog show, obedience and rally trials - a different Kennel Club hosts competitions each day. The schedule is: Thursday, Fayetteville Kennel Club; Friday, Alamance Kennel Club; Saturday, Durham Kennel Club; Sunday, Raleigh Kennel Club, and Monday, Cary Kennel Club. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday is $5.00 for adults, $2.00 for senior adults and children 7-11 years of age. Free admission with military ID and for children under 7 years of age.
