The Flea Market is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. Each weekend, the Commercial and Education buildings and the outside grounds are host to hundreds of dealers, craftsmen, and booths.

Dixie Gun & Knife Classic
Buy, sell or trade. Modern and collectible firearms, custom made knives, hunting and fishing equipment, ammo, gun accessories, reloading supplies and much, much more....something for the whole family. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $8 for adults and children under 12 are free with paying adult. 2-3 Bead Mercantile Show
Visit our event for a great selection of beads and bead related items from vendors from across the country and world selling everything from hand-made artisan glass beads to direct imports such as beads (seed, pewter, semi-precious gemstones), findings, trheads/cord and everything else you need to make beaded jewelry. Workshops also available. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday.
General Admission of $6 is discounted to $3 with registration at door or online - children under 16 admitted free but must be accompanied by an adult.

Double L Bar Cowboy Mounted Shooters
Friday 8/16/2013 at 7PM and Saturday 8/17/2013 at 7PM. Double L Bar Shooters is producing a (CMSA) Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association sanctioned event featuring riders dressed in period and contemporary western costumes. Riders ON HORSEBACK shoot balloons from their galloping horses in the main arena with six guns, rifles and shotguns using safety blanks. Combines shooting Skill with horsemanship against the clock. Don't miss this thriller! Friday and Saturday Safety Meeting 6:45PM - Shot starts at 7PM with Stages 1 - 4 - Rifle & Shotgun match following the 3rd stage. No spectator admission for this event.

23 10th Annual Children's Good News Spectacular
Child Evangelism Fellowship of Greater Raleigh Area and several area sponsors are hosting a free area-wide event for children and families at our expanded location on the Fairgrounds.. Children can enjoy inflatible games and rides, popcorn, snow cones and drinks, and an illusion show blended with several gospel puppet presentations.

Equestrian Exchange Consignment Sale
Equestrian Exchange Tack Consignment Sale is North Carolina's largest equine item consignment sale. It offers the opportunity to buy and sell any equestrian tack, saddles, show clothing, barn supplies, horsewaer and riding needs for all disciplines of riding. New bar code tagging system - refer to website for all details. Consignors earn 75% of all sold and shop before public. Anything related to the equestrian sport is represented at this sale. Barn supplies, show clothing and more! Encourage all non-profit horse progrms and equestrian camps to be involved in buying and selling horse items. Large items such as carts, wagons welcome.

Receiving dates: (drop off your items) are August 26 from 6-9 for 100+ consignment items or Wednesday 8/27 from 10 am - 9 pm; Pick-up unsold items Tuesday 9/2 from 4 - 8 pm (this is a no shopping day) or Wednesday 9/3 from 10 am - 2 pm. (this is a no shopping day) .

Thursday 8/28 Volunteers Shop 10 am - 9 pm and Consignors shop 1 pm - 9 pm.; Also Volunteers may shop on Monday 9/1 from 8 am - 5 pm and Consignors from 9 am - 5 pm.

8/29-9/1 Kennel Club Dog Shows-Tarheel Labor Day Cluster
AKC (American Kennel Club) registered dogs will compete each day for points leading to championships, as well as dog obedience trials for degrees and obedience championship points.  Championship all breed dog show, obedience and rally trials - a different Kennel Club hosts competitions each day. The schedule is: Friday, Alamance Kennel Club; Saturday, Durham Kennel Club; Sunday, Raleigh Kennel Club, and Monday, Cary Kennel Club. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday is $5.00 for adults, $2.00 for senior adults and children 7-11 years of age. Free admission with military ID and for children under 7 years of age.

This show offers precious and semi-precious gem stones, pearls, beads and findings, minerals, fossils, and finished jewelry in gold and silver. Wirewrappers and jewelers on site. 30-31 NCDCTA Labor of Love Horse Show
Show consists of all levels of dressage competition.
Hours: Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Spectator admission is Free.

End of Summer Tailgate Party complete with a family fun game center, displays from college departments, related commodity groups, silent auction, music, and a visit from the NC State Pep Band and Mr. and Mrs. Wuf. All-you-can eat buffet with shrimp, chicken, barbecue, and the fixin’s. Tailgate begins at 9 AM, and ends at 12:00 PM, with a 12:30 pm kickoff. Admission is $18 for adults, $14 for students, $9 for ages 4 to 12, and free for toddlers age 3 and under. Visit our website for more information:
