The Flea Market is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. Each weekend, the Commercial and Education buildings and the outside grounds are host to hundreds of dealers, craftsmen, and booths. The Flea Market outdoor vendors will be open on Friday - May 16 between 12 noon - 6 pm during the 2013 GOT TO BE NC FESTIVAL.

(CMSA) Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association sanctioned event featuring riders dressed in period and contemporary western costumes.
Riders ON HORSEBACK shoot balloons from their galloping horses in the main arena with six guns, rifles and shotguns using safety blanks. Combines shooting Skill with horsemanship against the clock. Don't miss this thriller! Friday Night: Safety Meeting at 6:45PM followed by Stages 1 - 4

All About Motherhood Expo
A breath of fresh air to the state, Blessed Lockets Enterprise presents All About Motherhood Expo in Raleigh, NC on May 3, 2014 at the NC State Fairgrounds Holshouser Bldg 1025 Blue Ridge Rd Raleigh NC 27607. The All about Motherhood Expo will include talks by pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting experts, educators and real parents as well as a maternity expo, dads panel, exhibits by local retailers and much, much more. Blessed Lockets Enterprise, Inc aims to provide moms, expecting moms, grandmas as well as dads with engaging educational information to connect the community with creative ideas which will enable creating the best thriving households in America.

Southern States Regional Morgan Horse Show
This is the 42nd year of the Southern States Regional Morgan Horse Show. This is a world class event with 200+ Morgans from across the US travelling to compete in divisions ranging from Hunt and Classic Pleasue to English and Park classes both under saddle and in harness. There are also dressage trail and carriage classes as well as vendors displaying a variety of unique equine gifts - Fun for all ages! Public invited. Free Admission.

Equestrian Exchange Tack Consignment Sale offers the opportunity to buy and consign anything related to the equestrian sport. All riding disciplines represented for all levels of experience. Saddles, tack, riding clothing, boots, bits, blankets, carts, jewelry, art, helmets and more. Volunteer 8 hours and shop prior to public shopping. Youth Livestock Show including steer and breed shows, showmanship competition, skill development, leadership development, and family activities that involve cattle. The North Carolina Junior Beef Round-Up is planned and run by a group of juniors from throughout North Carolina, their breed advisors, the Purebred Breeders Council, the North Carolina Cattlemen's Association and the NCSU 4-H and Youth Livestock Department. Event competition begins Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 am.

Antique guns, U.S. and foreign military arms and memorabilia exhibited, bought, sold, and traded - WWI, WWII, Civil War, Vietnam, and other conflicts. Also includes relics, books, uniforms and insignias. Free appraisals.
