Southern Ideal Home Show - Spring Edition ******2020 SHOW CANCELLED* Next Event September 18-20

The Fairgrounds Southern Ideal Home Show scheduled for April 3-5, 2020 has been cancelled as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
If you have purchased a ticket to attend this show or have a complimentary pass, your tickets/passes will be accepted at any of these events:

1. Fairgrounds Southern Ideal Home Show [] , September 18-20, 2020 at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds 
2. 2021 Downtown Raleigh Home Show [] , February 12-14, 2021 at the Raleigh Convention Center
3. 2021 Fairgrounds Southern Ideal Home Show [] , April 9-11, 2021 at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds

The Fairgrounds Southern Ideal Home Show is a vibrant marketplace where you can shop for home-related products and services, experience stunning displays to help inspire your next home project, connect with industry experts, and enjoy information presentations from renowned local and international home professionals. Whether you're joining us at the NC State Fairgrounds with a specific project in mind or just looking for some inspiration, our local home professionals have you covered. With 250+ booths to explore and several unique feature displays to enjoy, this is a valuable event for all North Carolina homeowners.

Saturday: 10 am - 8 pm
Sunday: 10 am - 6 pm
Admission: Admission passes are valid for entry any one day of the show (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday).

Children Ages 12 & Under FREE
Senior Day: Friday, April 3rd, 2020. Tickets for Seniors 60+ are available for $6 online and at the box office with valid ID.
Hero Day: Friday, April 3rd, 2020. We invite Active & Retired Military personnel, Fire, Police and First Responders to attend the show free of charge. Simply present valid ID at the box office. For your service and sacrifice, we thank you!
Teacher Day: Sunday, April 5th, 2020. Teachers will receive complimentary admission to the show with valid faculty ID at the box office on Sunday. For your service to our community, we thank you!
Trade Day: Sunday, April 5th, 2020. Vocational students or Skilled Trade will receive complimentary admission to the show on Sunday. For your service to our community, we thank you!

3-5 Precious Gem & Mineral Show **APRiL SHOW RESCHEduLED FOR: August 6-9, 2020********

CELEBRATING THEIR 44th YEAR at the State Fairgrounds, this annual show is sponsored by the Tar Heel Gem & Mineral Club and includes 29 dealers. The Club Demonstration area includes club members faceting, cabbing, chainmaking, wirewraping, bead stringing and gem tree creating. Club members will also provide lectures about minerals and demonstrations of gem polishing, geode cutting plus associated hobbies. The Hospitality area sells grab bags with mineral specimens - some could contain a faceted gem. Tickets for the geode raffle and door prizes are in this area. Buy a rock at the Geode booth and be the first to see what is inside. The on-going Silent Auction has new items every hour. Dealers provide minerals, fossils, finished jewelry, gemstones, findings and beads for sale.
Admission: $3.

Region 12 & 15 All-Arabian Horse Show
3 day 44th Annual NCAHA/ODAHA Dual Region Qualifing All-Arabian Horse Show. Arabian-Half Arabian competition includes various indoor and outdoor events performance, halter, sport horse, dressage, hunter jumper and carriage driving. Free admission. Begins Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m. each day until 10 p.m.

9-11 Raleigh Invitational Horse Show
American Saddle Bred and Morgan horse show - a qualifier for the World Championship Horse Show. Free spectator admission to show competition. Session times: Thursday morning (April 9) 9:00 a.m. and evening 6:00 p.m.; Friday morning (April 10) 9:00 a.m. and evening 6:00 p.m.; Saturday (April 11) 9:00 a.m. until approximately 4:00 p.m. Exhibitor party Friday night and morning hospitality each day of show.

48th Annual Raleigh Hamfest *******2020 SHOW CANCELLED ********

**************Message from RALEIGH AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY:
We are sad to announce that the 48th annual RARSfest/Roanoke Division Convention, scheduled for April 11, 2020, has been canceled in accordance with our Local government mandate.  The health and wellness of all involved are a priority to Raleigh Amateur Radio Society and, there are no plans to reschedule the event this year. In an attempt to reduce the inconvenience to our loyal attendees all paid pre-registration monies will be refunded. Paypal and Check payments will be returned through the proper channels and cash payment persons will be contacted by RARS.  We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward in having you join us next year on April 3, 2021. Your understanding and patience will be greatly appreciated.

All in one building, huge electronic flea market for new & used amateur radio and electronic equipment. Amateur Radio License Examinations start at 9 a.m. sharp. Forums, construction projects, operate the RARSfest GOTA Station and see a satellite communications demo. Show hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m, Saturday - April 11. Advance tickets are $8 pre-registration until April 5 or $10 at the door.

This year's Southern Women’s Show has been rescheduled from the original April 17-19 dates, and will now be held June 19-21.  Tickets already purchased will be honored at the show.  See you then!

Unleashed's 7th Annual K9 Spring Fling dog and cat fundraiser! A family-friendly fun Spring celebration full of good times for good causes.
