1-3 Southern Ideal Home Show - Spring Edition
The show features hundreds of building, remodeling, kitchen and bath, landscaping, outdoor living and interior design companies. This three day event provides homeowners with opportunities to shop, compare, and seek advice from professionals and see the latest in home improvement trends. The show is a convenient, one-stop shopping, and has set the standard as the “must-see” home and garden event of the year. Event Times: Friday, April 1: Noon – 9pm; Saturday, April 2: 10am – 8pm; Sunday, April 3: 11am – 5pm. Event Admission Rates: $9 adults, children 15 & under Free with paying adult. (Discount Coupon available on our web link). Special 55+ Day is Friday $7 (no coupons);

1-3 Precious Gem & Mineral Show
This show is sponsored by the Tar Heel Gem & Mineral Club and includes 29 dealers. The Club Demonstration area includes club members faceting, cabbing, chainmaking, wirewraping, bead stringing and gem tree creating. The Hospitality area sells grab bags with mineral specimens. Some could contain a faceted gem. Tickets for the geode raffle, door prizes and rock candy are in this area. Buy a rock at the Geode booth and be the first to see what is inside. The on-going Silent Auction has new items every hour. Dealers provide minerals, fossils, finished jewelry, gemstones, findings and beads for sale.
