Precious Gem & Mineral Show
This show is sponsored by the Tar Heel Gem & Mineral
Club and includes 29 dealers plus Club areas of demonstration,
silent auction, goedes and hospitality. Finished jewelry,
rough minerals, fossils, geodes, related books and tools
on display and for sale. Familiarize your children with
the Lapidary Arts. FREE admission. Grab bags with rocks
and minerals, some containing a faceted gem, available
for kids. The club will sell and cut geodes and offer
an on-going Silent Auction with new items every hour.
One large area is set up to demonstrate faceting, cabachons,
Opals, chainmaking, wirewrap, and gem trees.
