Dixie Deer Classic
Deer Hunters Convention. This is the 31st annual event designed to offer
the latest in hunting equipment from more than 200 vendors. Seminars, displays,
trophy scoring, and archery competition. Special Guests to be announced.
Hours are Friday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday
9 a.m.
to 5
p.m. Admission
is
$10
for
adults (get your hand stamped for return admission good all 3 days), children
12 and under are admitted free. SPECIAL ADMISSION ticket for Friday
Only: All Youth age 13 to 18, Seniors 65 and over, Military,

the National Wild Turkey Federation
banquet will be Friday evening and the NC State Championship
Turkey Calling Contest will be held in the Dixie Deer Classic on Saturday.

championship dog shows, obedience and rally trials. A different Kennel
