1/30-2/1 Southern Farm Show
The largest agriculture exposition in the Carolinas and Virginia. A major expansion onto the midway of the NC State Fairgrounds means even more equipment, experts and ideas. Filling the NC State Fairgrounds, the show features over 500 manufacturers withexpert advice and the latest farm equipment, supplies and services. Events include the FFA tractor and truck driving competitions, the annual meeting of the Tobacco Growers Association of NC, and the Southern National Draft Horse Pull.  Hours are 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily. Giant percheron and belgian draft horses from across the nation compete for prize money. Pre-show entertainment includes horse-drawn equipment demonstrations, blue grass music and the Coon Mule Jump.
