The Flea Market reopens on Saturday, Nov. 8 and is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. Each weekend, the Commercial and Education buildings, the Shoppes at Dorton and the outside grounds are host to hundreds of dealers, craftsmen, and booths. The Flea Market will be open regular hours on Thanksgiving weekend, but will NOT be open Friday, Nov. 29..

Hunter Jumper Horse Show -Friday through Sunday. Daily show begins at 8:00 am. These shows are hunter horse shows with most of the competitors being from North Carolina. NCHJA "C" Rated. Free spectator admission

4-9 'Jump for the Children' Horse Show....benefiting Duke Children's Hospital
Watch Olympic style show jumping at the 'JUMP FOR THE CHILDREN' HORSE SHOW, benefiting Duke Children's Hospital in Durham, NC. The horse show offers U.S. Equestrian Federation "AA" rated hunter and show jumping competition each day. Show Highlights:

6 NCSU Ducks Unlimited Banquet
NCSU Chapter annual banquet. Fundraiser event includes dinner, annual membership, raffles, live band, and information on the conservation of North America's wetlands and wildlife. 6 Alzheimers North Carolina, Inc. "Candlelight Reflections"
This is a State-wide event. The candle lighting ceremony remembers those we have lost and honors families and friends taking on the role of caregiver and/or living with Alzheimer's Disease or other dementia. Join us in honor of National and North Carolina Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month and Family Caregiver Month. Event will begin at 6:30 with the ceremony at 7 pm on Thursday, November 6.  Admission is free.

7-8 Capital Area Handbell Festival
This festival will include over 400 handbell ringers from several States who will join together to ring and learn from a nationally-known handbell clinician. The festival is produced and run by The Raleigh Ringers - registration fee is required for festival participants. Friday night hours are 6 - 10 pm and includes a 3 hour workshop followed by a workshop Saturday from 9 am - 5 pm. All ringer groups will be ringing together in a final massed concert on Saturday at 4pm. The final concert at 4pm is open to the public and free admission.Canned goods are also being collected for Food Bank of Central Eastern North Carolina..

7-9 Raleigh Antiques Extravaganza
The 68th Raleigh Antiques Extravaganza - over 125 exhibitors, from Florida to New England, featuring quality antiques and old collectibles. Event Hours: Friday 10 am - 6 pm, Saturday 10 am - 5 pm, Sunday 11 am - 5 pm. Admission $6.50 per day $7.50 weekend pass. Discount admission coupon available. Check our website for more details

8 One Tribe Fest 2014
One Tribe Fest is a Local Community Expo and Festival, driven by local and regional talent. Attendees of One Tribe Fest will hear, see, create, learn, and interact. With a theme of Stronger Together, the event showcases local artisans and businesses, crafters, natural products, jewelry, holistic healers, intuitive readers, as well as healing crystals, angelic art, sacred music, Drum Circle and more. We want to inspire participants to explore the body, mind, and spirit in a playful, safe, and accessible, down-to-earth way. To educate and inspire. Come shop for the Holiday Season! 8-9 Neuse River Trains - 30th Annual Train & Railroadiana Show & Sale
Model railroad show and sale sponsored by Neuse River Valley Model Railroad Club, a non-profit educational organization chartered to promote the hobby of model railroading. Several operating layouts on display with many vendors selling train related merchandise. Great fun for kids of ALL ages! Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
