The Flea Market is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. Each weekend, the Commercial and Education buildings and the outside grounds are host to hundreds of dealers, craftsmen, and booths. 2-3 Capital Area Handbell Festival
For the 19th consecutive year, 300-400 handbell ringers from several States come together for two days of ringing and learning under a nationally-known handbell clinician. This large group festival will be Friday 1 - 10 pm and Saturday 7:30 am - 6 pm. Registration fee for participants. This large group presents a final concert at 4:00 pm on Saturday that is free and open to the public.

3-4 22nd International Festival
The International Festival promotes and celebrates the diverse culture in our area. Hours are Saturday - 10 am to 10 pm and Sunday - 11am to 6 pm. Admission is $6 for adults ($5 advance tickets available from Harris-Teeter locations) and $5 for children age 6-12. Children age 5 and under admitted free. (Wake County Teachers admitted with ID and $4).

The Bay 6 USA Expo will be open to general public with free admission on Friday 2-7 pm and Saturday 10 am - 5 pm in the Holshouser Building, and includes 40 exhibitors offering a wide array of apparel, equipment, & accessories for the entire family.
The Zely & Ritz Pasta Dinner for Race participants will from 5 - 7 pm at the Gov. Martin Building on Saturday - Nov. 3

6-11 Duke Children's Hospital Benefit Horse Show
Hunter Jumper Horse Show - Daily show Tuesday through Sunday begins at 8:00 am with FREE ADMISSION. Admission is charged for Saturday night Grand Prix at 7:30 pm. The 24th annual Duke Children's Benefit Horse Show, the largest hunter-jumper horse show in the Southeast, features six days of competition by horses and their riders from the United States and Canada. In addition to competition, the show offers all ages a behind-the-scenes look at how horses are cared for, trained and shown. Youngsters can see the horses in their stalls in the five tents and five permanent barns on the complex grounds. The show also features equestrian collectibles and unique gifts from around the country as well as a silent auction open for bidding Tuesday through Saturday night. In addition to vendors for shopping, don't miss family fun night 5:30 - 6:30 pm with a stick race at 6:45 pm Friday night (bring your own stick horse).
