Flea Market at the N.C. State Fairgrounds

Temporary Vendor Information

temporary vendorsEach 10'X20' marked space rents for $20 per day. Rent is payable with cash, debit or credit card only to Flea Market staff who collect after you set up.

Spaces marked by white "X" are designated for permanent dealers who set up every weekend. Temporary dealers must be assigned space by staff.

Gate 9, located off Trinity Road on the North Side of the Fairgrounds, opens at 6 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday. All gates open at 7 a.m. You will be assigned a space by staff at the 6 a.m. gate or later at the Flea Market office.

Camping hookups are available outside Gate 9 for $25 per night.

No reservations are taken for temporary space, except for antique dealers, and no rain checks are given.

The N.C. State Revenue Department requires that every Flea Market vendor, whether permanent or temporary, have a sales tax number. If you do not, you will be required to file application for one during your first day at the Flea Market. Yard sales and people who grow their own vegetables do not need a tax number.

No food are beverages shall be offered for sale with the exceptions of produce, fresh fruit, frozen foods and seafood. Seafood vendors are required to have a self-contained refrigerated truck.

No firearms, ammunition, martial arts weapons, drugs, drug paraphernalia, over the counter medication, switchblade knives, brass knuckles or other weapons may be displayed or offered for sale. No knife or any other sword may be sold to anyone under 18 unless a parent is present and agrees to the purchase. No games of chance, arcade type devises, raffles or soliciting is allowed. No counterfeit items or materials that would be detrimental to the image of the Flea Market or the State Fair will be permitted for display or sale on the premise.

No alcoholic beverages may be consumed or offered for sale.

Security on grounds 24 hours a day.

Fairgrounds Flea Market or the N.C. State Fairgrounds will not be responsible for bodily injury, theft, violence or property damage caused by fire, water, lightning or vandalism.
