Any hay producer in North Carolina is eligible to compete.
Forage samples for chemical analysis must be submitted to the Forage Analysis Lab by September 15 (see below).
Forage samples for visual analysis will be accepted in the Graham Building on the fairgrounds, beginning at 9 a.m. on October 10, 2017 until noon on October 11, 2017.

Please note that entries mailed to 1025 Blue Ridge Rd. will NOT be delivered to the fairgrounds. This is NOT a deliverable USPS address.

Forage sample and $10 fee should be submitted for chemical analysis by September 15, 2017. Forms are available from your county extension office or regional agronomist. Mark "STATE FAIR SAMPLE" at the top of your form. |
Exhibitors who choose not to disclose their full Social Security Number at the time of registration (paper entry forms or online), even if they have submitted an entry in the past, forfeit any and all premium monies they may be entitled to.
