Get to the Fair - Parking
Free parking is available on State Fair, Carter-Finley Football Stadium and PNC Arena properties.
Fairgoers are encouraged to take Wade Avenue to the Edwards Mill Extension to park in these lots. There may be exceptions if events are scheduled at Carter-Finley or PNC Arena.
Get to the Fair - Park and Ride
Skip the parking hassle, and take advantage of our convenient Triangle-area Park and Ride options.
Park and Ride buses will drop you off at Gate 1 on Hillsborough Street, the perfect starting point for your fun-filled day. When you are ready to leave, just head back to the Gate 1 transit zone to head back to your car. Make note of the last pick-up of the night!
Daily service to the N.C. State Fair
*October 13th: GoRaleigh shuttles will operate from 2:30pm-Midnight on the first day of the fair.

Departing the N.C. State Fair
To get home, take the return train Carolinian 79 departing the State Fairgrounds at 4:56 p.m. with stops in Cary, Durham, Burlington, Greensboro, High Point, Salisbury and Kannapolis, arriving in Charlotte at 8:12 p.m.
The special train stop is wheelchair accessible.
