Three to be inducted into N.C. Livestock Hall of Fame
| WHAT: | Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler and Livestock Show Director Bruce Shankle will preside over the N.C. State Fair Livestock Hall of Fame induction ceremony. This year's inductees—Leon Brickhouse of Elizabeth City, the late Linda Champion and Gregory Peele of Pikeville—will be honored for their work in the supporter, horse and swine categories. |

| WHY: | Each year the N.C. State Fair recognizes individuals who have made major contributions to livestock exhibits and shows at the State Fair. The ceremony will pay tribute to the 2009 honorees with a plaque and pin presentation, and their portraits will be displayed with previous inductees. |
