RALEIGH - If you were hoping to buy tickets to see Daughtry Oct. 20 at the N.C. State Fair, you’re too late. The Daughtry concert sold out on the sixth day of sales, and ticket sales for other concerts have been brisk.
Cooking diva Paula Deen is expected to sell out soon, with fewer than 100 seats left for her Oct. 17 cooking demonstration. Dorton Arena seats almost 5,600 fairgoers.
“Ticket sales for country music acts Trace Adkins, Sara Evans, Josh Turner and Kellie Pickler have been pretty strong as well, but good seats are still available,” said State Fair Manager Wesley Wyatt. “The State Fair has a great, diverse lineup this year and based on early ticket sales, fans are looking forward to the shows.”
Advance admission, ride and concert tickets are available at www.ncstatefair.org through Oct. 11 at midnight. Advance admission and ride tickets offer a discount over gate prices. The State Fair runs Oct. 12-21. For tickets or more information, go to www.ncstatefair.org.
