RALEIGH – Get ready for the food, fun and excitement of the N.C. State Fair with advance tickets available at select malls Sept. 27 through Oct. 11. Fairgoers are encouraged to visit these locations early to avoid lines during the last-day rush.
Admission tickets and ride sheets will be on sale at six area malls:
Tickets will be available during each mall’s regular hours, except on Thursday, Oct. 11, when sales at all locations will stop at 6 p.m. Each shopping center will accept cash, debit cards, Visa and Mastercard, with the exception of Wilson Mall, which will accept cash only.
In addition to six mall locations, tickets will be available at three walk-up locations:
The Agriculture Building will sell tickets Monday through Friday Sept. 27-Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The State Fairgrounds will sale advance tickets Sept. 27-Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Tickets will also be sold at the State Farmers Market in Raleigh Sept. 29-30 and Oct. 6-7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Agriculture Building and State Fairgrounds will accept cash, debit cards, Visa and Mastercard. The Farmers Market will accept cash only.
Purchasing advance tickets at these locations before Oct. 11 will save fairgoers $2 per adult ticket over gate prices and $8 per sheet of ride coupons. Advance admission tickets will cost $5 for adults and $1 for children ages 6-12. Adult admission tickets for groups of 40 or more will cost $4.75. Ride sheets will cost $10 in advance.
Advance tickets also are available at the State Fair Web site, www.ncstatefair.org. Concert tickets are only available on the Web site.
